WEMEA (West Edmond Musical Enrichment Association) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization primarily supported by Santa Fe Band parents. Funds raised by the organization go to directly support the band's activities. Our primary objective is to provide our students with the best possible band experience.
Throughout the course of the year, the Santa Fe Band performs at numerous marching and concert contests around the state of Oklahoma. In order for the band to participate in these events, your support is necessary.
To minimize fundraising activities for that support, band parents pay an annual student activity fee.
These fees are made payable to WEMEA.
Some of the items covered by this student activity fee are: new marching shoes, gloves, hats & polo shirts for incoming freshman and new students, various Color Guard accessories, marching show copyright fees, marching show music fees, marching season drum line and Color Guard clinicians, insurance costs and more.
